Weather feed provided by 17th Operational Weather Squadron
The 2nd Infantry Division tax center will open Feb. 1 to April 21 for customers needing to file 2011 tax returns. The services are performed by IRS-certified Soldiers and volunteers, and are available free to all U.S. servicemembers and their dependents, U.S. military retirees, and Department of the Army civilians. The services are not free for independent contractors employed by the Defense Department, but they can visit the tax center for information about where to file their tax returns while in Korea. Before visiting the tax center, taxpayers are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 730-2568. A tax center at Camp Red Cloud is to open in February at a time and location yet to be determined.
